WODIL 2023 was a full success with more than 40 participants, excellent presentations and lively discussions. Thanks to all participants and sponsors! The next WODIL is scheduled for September 2024 in Grenoble, France.

DETAILS

The 12th German-French Workshop on Oxide, Dielectric and Laser single crystals (WODIL 2023) is devoted to any research involving oxide, chalcogenide, or halide single crystals that are used as optical, piezoelectric, or laser materials, and as substrates for piezoelectric and oxide electronic applications. The workshop brings together scientists and scholars from industry, research labs, and universities to present and discuss the recent advances in the field of oxide crystals, dielectric materials, laser and non-linear optical crystals, solid-state lasers, and related topics.

The workshop is a joint collaboration of the German Society of Crystal Growth (DGKK), the CNRS network CRISTECH (Crystal Growth Technologies) and the French Committee for Crystal Growth (CFCC) under the aegis of the French Association of Crystallography (AFC).

This workshop is jointly organized by the Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung (IKZ) and the IRIS Adlershof of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Previous workshops have been organized by FEE (now EOT GmbH - Coherent) in Idar-Oberstein (2011, 2014, 2018, 2021), ISL in Saint Louis (2012, 2015), ICMCB in Pessac/Bordeaux (2017), IKZ in Berlin (2016, 2020) and ILM in Villeurbanne/Lyon (2019, 2022).

Anyone interested in the workshop topic is cordially invited to participate and to present her or his interesting scientific results in an oral presentation of about 20 minutes or in a poster presentations during the poster session. The workshop is an international event and open for researchers from all over the world. Workshop language is English.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Berlin!

REGISTER & SUBMIT ABSTRACT

Workshop attendance is free of charge. Registration (send an informal notice to matthias.bickermann@ikz-berlin.de) is still required as attendance is limited (but there should be enough seats available).

If you participate in the workshop, take the chance to also present your work as a talk or poster!

Download the Abstract Template (Word) Send Registration Notice by Email

Please inform the organizers about your participation by sending an email notification to matthias.bickermann@ikz-berlin.de as soon as possible.

We expect the oral presentations to have a duration of about 20 mins each, plus extra time for discussion. Also poster presentations are possible. All presentations should be in English (slides and talk).

Technical equipment (beamer, laptop, laser pointer, presenter etc.) is present. Own equipment may be used.

WODIL is a face-to-face only meeting. There will be no transmission of slides or presentations in the internet.
