Technological sovereignty has become one of the most important topics on the political agenda for innovation – both at national and European level. Meanwhile it has become clear, that Europe must shape the development and application of new technologies internationally on equal footing. Institutions of the Leibniz Association have jointly initiated the interdisciplinary strategy forum "Technological Sovereignty" to bring the potential of the Leibniz Association into this central topic.

For this purpose, the Leibniz Strategy Forum "Technological Sovereignty" invites representatives from different areas of economy and industry to discuss with leading Leibniz institutes how central contributions - especially by the Leibniz Association - can be developed for solution concepts in strategically relevant key technologies.

The industry’s perspective is of central importance in order to intensify the networking of public and private research along the value chain.

 

Professor of Hybrid Devices at at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) and head of a Joint Lab operated by HU and HZB. He works on the development of coating and printing processes for hybrid perovskites.
